Table hire
Why We Invest in Quality Tables
Why don't we hire out cheaper ping pong tables? Our answer is simple: we couldn't give you an experience we think you'll love.

How it plays
A good table is a game-changer, and one costs anywhere from about 12 million to over 50 million rupiah to buy. The ball bounces the same in every spot and zips off the surface, so the game is faster and rallies last longer, and tend to be far more epic. The surface also grips the ball, so you can put real spin on your shots and serves.
Cheap tables give you dead spots, a wobble and a sagging net. That’s fine for a quick hit, but it soon gets frustrating, and a wobbly table can even be unsafe to move or play on.
Our table is the Spinworks Pro, with a tournament-level surface on a sturdy frame. Every hire comes with two good-quality table tennis bats that enable intermediate to advanced level play. See the full table specs →
Lower risk of damage
Cheap tables chip and dent easily, which can make rentals stressful for everyone. Our tables are built for proper play, don't break or scratch easily, and we check each table's condition at drop-off and pickup. So far we have a 100% record of full deposit returns.
How it looks
A table often takes up a prime position in your villa, so it should look the part. The Spinworks Pro has a matte black, zero-glare finish that fits in with design-led spaces rather than diminishing them.

What it actually costs
Take away the delivery cost and the refundable deposit, and on a week's hire the table itself works out at around 250K IDR a day. That's about what a large frozen yoghurt pot costs at one of Canggu's most popular cafés! And most bookings are for a group, so the cost is usually shared.
Bali is hard on tables
Bali humidity turns normal table tennis tables banana-shaped, fast. Most are thin MDF which absorbs moisture from the air. The edges swell, the surface bubbles and the bounce goes. Ours are made with special moisture-resistant wood, so they don't warp in the humidity.
It's a safety issue too. A table is heavy equipment, and an unstable one can lead to accidents. Chipped edges can also snag clothes and even cause cuts.
Built to last
We want our tables to stay in play for years rather than end up in landfill after one season. Looking after them, and asking guests to treat them well, is better for the island and better for the game.
What goes into every delivery
Set-up takes 30 to 45 minutes, and we use specialist equipment so the table isn't damaged on the way, including in rainy season. Small plastic wheels increase the risk of a table toppling en route, so our tables have 4-inch lockable wheels.
That means the table arrives at your villa in the same condition it left us. Our delivery team are also paid a good wage that supports their livelihoods and families. Delivery is a fixed cost for us, so we charge it as one clear fee.

Hiring a table in Bali? What to look for
When considering hiring a table tennis table in Bali, these questions are worth asking:
- How thick is the top? Thin tops (especially MDF) warp and bubble in the humidity and bounce badly.
- What are the wheels like? Big locking wheels move safely. Small plastic ones crack and can scratch your flooring.
- How is it transported? Ask whether it's strapped and covered, and possible to deliver in the rain.
- Can it go outside? Ask where it should be kept overnight.
- What does the deposit cover? Agree how damage is judged before the table arrives.
- Check the edges and surface. Swelling, bubbling or chips mean the top is already going.
